This was tested on the 2010 GOG.com release of The Interstate '76 Arsenal.Ĭreated with the help from the GOG.com Interstate '76 forum. However, loading the actual game should result in the game running at the native resolution of the user's display (or another preset set by the user in dgVoodoo). The ingame graphics settings menu may also indicate a (locked) game resolution of 640x480. Note that the game menus may load at a lower resolution. It is also possible to use high Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic filtering settings (via ATI/Nvidia Control Panel). With dgVoodoo you can run the game at any resolution. Running the game via this script should resolve incorrect display of colors problems.

This batch script will shutdown Windows Explorer when you start the game, and restart it when you exit the the game. Taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe start /w i76.exe -glide (use nitro.exe for Nitro Riders, use - d3d instead of -glide to run the game in D3D mode) pause (this can be removed if you find the need to press enter to quit the script annoying) start explorer.exe

There are other ways to run game than just in software mode. It has all the glide effects translated into opengl and then some, including bloom and improved skyboxes.
Personally I'd nix the voodoo and go with the opengl patch. I tend to have mix results depending on what graphics card the computer i'm using has. I have not tested the launcher but many others have on the forum. 3dfx through nglide is possible but wonky. Force emulating true PCI access When enabled, the virtual 3Dfx card will have PCI bus speeds emulated as closely as possible. Since Glide uses a linear curve by default, the gamma level might not match the default or one's taste and can look visually detracting. There are two versions there (v1.5 without dgVoodoo/Glide built-in and v2.0 with dgVoodoo/Glide support built-in). A gamma correction curve can be set through the Glide interface when enabled. Awesome and smooth graphics that remembers me to the old Rollcages and new GriP. The game 'Diablo 2' (so 'Lord of Destruction', too) is known for the fact, that it runs far better with GLIDE than with Direct3D. Amazing racegame with the amazing 3DFX Glide wrapper support Its like Im playing on a Pentium 2-450 or AMDK6-2/450 with Voodoo 2 -12 MB in SLI configuration. Over on the GOG.com forum Hip63 created a launcher to make running Interstate 76 easier. GLIDE is a graphiccard-interface that has been evolved by the company '3DFX', to give application-programmers the chance, to access their graphiccard-chipsets (socalled voodoo-chipsets) with high efficiency.

But for Android Studio I don't have errors:Īll other elements are ok, the problem is only glide. I think maybe the problem is the string Glide.with(getApplicationContext()), maybe it isn't correct. My application closes every time I try to see the images.
